Protech Contractors LLC (“Pro Tech Contractors,” “we,” “us”) provides commercial and industrial HVAC services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through protechxl.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what you give us when you contact us or request service: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the details of your request. Our web server and CDN also record standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and available.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and perform service, send appointment and job-status updates, invoice you, and keep records required for licensed contracting work. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
SMS text messages
If you check the SMS consent box on our contact form, or if you text one of our numbers first, you agree to receive service-related text messages from us at the number you provided. Messages are sent from (224) 524-0486 or (877) 807-8324 and relate to your service request, appointment scheduling, technician arrival, and job status.
Message frequency varies based on your active service requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect the service we provide by phone or email.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. All of the above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message service.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that operate our business on our behalf — for example our messaging carrier, email and hosting providers, and payment processor — and only to the extent they need it to perform that work. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep service and job records for as long as needed to support the work, meet warranty obligations, and satisfy tax and licensing requirements. Contact-form submissions that do not become jobs are retained only as long as needed to follow up.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP.
Children
Our services are directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
